Railway transportThere are railway lines from Plovdiv to Sofia, Bourgas, Svilengrad, Karlovo, Panagyurishte, Peshtera, Hissarya and Assenovgrad. There are two railway stations and numerous railway stops: Central Railway Station (44, Hristo Botev Blvd., tel.: 032 222729, 552730, 222940, info on departing trains: 032 175). Philipovo Railway Station (in Philipovo Quarter, tel.: 032 23433602). The City Railway Bureau is located in the centre of the city (29, Мaria Louisa Blvd., tel.: 032 622732, working hours: 8.30 a.m. - 12.00 p.m. and 1.00 p.m. - 5.00 p.m., closed on Saturdays and Sundays). Rila International Railway Bureau is located opposite the Central Railway Station (31A, Hristo Botev Blvd., tel.: 032 446120, working hours: Monday through Friday, 8.00 a.m. - 6.00 p.m., Saturday - 8.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. and Sunday - day off). The Airport (no regular flights for the time being) is at a distance of 18 kilometres away from the city (tel.: 032 226173). International Transport Ticket Bureau (4, Gladstone Str., tel.: 032 633081, working hours: Monday through Friday, 8.00 a.m. - 6.30 p.m.).
