Paragliding
Paragliding recently becomes quite popular in our country. This quick and non-standard way of moving along evokes unbelievable emotions and is one of the mass sports of the future nevertheless the expensive equipment and facilities for ensuring safety. The sites where one can dive in the air are numerous but the fans of paragliding prefer Mr. Goli Vrah (in Vitosha, above Sofia), the Malyovitsa area (in Rila), the Pochivaloto area (Central Stara Planina above the town of Sopot), Okolchitsa Chalet and memorial (Vratsa sub-part of the Balkan, above the towns of Vratsa and Mezdra), Albena Resort (at the Black Sea), the high ski-tracks in winter – Markudzhitsite and Yastrebets (in Rila), Shiligarnika (in Pirin) and Stenata (in Vitosha).
In Bulgaria there are certain conditions for non-standard relations with nature that shall not be overlooked, expressed in the form of horse-tourism, deltagliding, snowboarding, surfing, yachting, etc.
The pure natural environment and the variety of fauna ensure perfect opportunities for hunting and fishing tourism.
The more dynamic and stressful life between the concrete walls in the cities, lacking air and space makes contact with nature an actual need. Bulgarian nature, the available infrastructure, the traditions and the people living with them and observing them are ready to meet this need.
