Surrounding areas of Toutrakan

The Danube River gives great opportunities for rest, sunbathing, fishing, water sports, and water tourism.

Kandidiana-Negrianis - remains of a Roman castle near the village of Malak Preslavets, some 30 km east of the town. It is supposed that this was the location of the Danubian palace of Khan Omour­tag.

There are regular bus lines to Toutrakan.
