Transport to MontanaBus and railway transport are the two types of transport connecting the town with the rest of the country. The bus transport is the most important having in mind the towns position and the many roads meeting or starting from here. There are regular buses to Sofia, Lom, Vidin, Belogradchik, Chiprovtsi, Berkovitsa, Vratsa, Pleven, as well as regular connections with almost all smaller settlements in the region. The bus station (tel.: 096 23454) and the railway station (tel.: 096 23846) are near to each other. Montana is a transitional railway station on the line Boichinovtsi-Berkovitsa through which it connects with the national railway system. Regular bus transport functions in the town.
